C. Vance Brand, a premier coup* painter, is an accomplished American Impressionist.
An award winning artist, he has been recognized for his pastels by induction into the Pastel Society Of America.
Though he paints captivating figurative work, his primary genre is colorful landscapes produced in oils, pastels, and encaustics. A graduate of Ohio State, Brand also studied with The Art Students League of New York and painted at The Johnson Studio In Vermont. Since he began his art career in 1980, Brand’s paintings have been featured in more than sixty one-man and group exhibitions.
